For 2010, we invited young Islanders (up to 19 years old) to create a short film in response to the theme 'A great day for the Isle of Wight' - inspired by Anthony's 1997 Oscar acceptance speech. www.youtube.com This was the memorable moment when he brought the Island to the attention of audiences worldwide, revealing not only his deep affection for his home, but also his generous instinct to share and celebrate his success with us all.
The deadline for submissions is 26 February 2010. All entries will be seen by a panel of Anthony's friends and family. Our favourites will be presented on the big screen as part of an awards ceremony at Cineworld on Saturday 13 February. Click Here to download the submissions form.
