Students - join the Isle of Wight Young Chamber
Members of the Isle of Wight Young Chamber are actively involved in the Minghella Film Festival - in fact we couldn't do it without them.
Students from participating high schools meet regularly in the build up to the festival, with the support of Young Chamber staff. They help to spread the word about the festival amongst local businesses, to attract much needed corporate sponsorship and support, and to ensure the smooth running of the event.
IW Young Chamber connects schools and local businesses through the Chamber of Commerce network. Young Chamber started on the Island and is now being successfully developed across the UK, thanks in part to the vision of Anthony's father, Edward Minghella. Former Chairman of the IW Chamber of Commerce.
High schools involved this year are Carisbrooke, Cowes, Medina and Ryde plus Christ the King's College.
